Mmmm. The One True Accompaniment to a cup of tea at Christmastime - the mince pie. It's a little known fact that the sweet mincemeat for mince pies is actually made of up normal beefy mince plus a pound of sugar, half a pack of currants, a quarter of a pack of nuts, half a pound of tuppeney rice, half a pound of treacle, a packet of pork scratchings and a bag of sawdust. NOM!
